Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Allie Reichert’s journey from basketball star to pickleball pro is a testament to her love for sports and unrelenting drive to excel. A proud graduate of Mason High School, Allie made her mark at Aurora University as a versatile athlete and scholar. During her collegiate basketball career, she started in 71 games over four seasons, earning AU and NACC Scholar-Athlete honors twice—and making headlines for holding the school record for most technical fouls in a single season. Fierce on the court and fearless in competition, her energy is now unmistakably part of her pickleball persona.

When the world slowed down during the pandemic, Allie and her dad, Steve, picked up pickleball paddles—and a new passion was born. What began as father-daughter lessons soon blossomed into a growing presence in Greater Cincinnati’s pickleball scene. Allie’s natural athleticism and competitive spirit quickly translated to the sport, propelling her to national prominence.

In 2025, Allie is making waves on the professional pickleball circuit, competing in all APP tour events and cementing her status as a rising star. When she’s not on the road, she’s sharing her expertise as an instructor at The Pickle Lodge, one of the country’s premier indoor pickleball facilities. Her private lessons, small group clinics, and infectious enthusiasm inspire players of all ages to step up their game.

When she’s not crushing it on the court, Allie’s usually harmonizing with her twin sister Jess (their duet of “No Air" is legendary), texting the family group chat—aka “Team Reichert” with Sue, Steve, and Adam—and giving her pets Luna (her ride-or-die pup) and Sunny (the judgmental cat with main character energy) the attention they clearly believe they deserve. She balances her competitive fire with plenty of self-care and a love for exploring Cincinnati’s hidden gems—especially if there’s great coffee or even better retro finds.
